Let’s start with the design. As usual, Alcatel ZIP LTE has a bar form factor just like most types of smartphone out there. The phone comes in black and measured at 142 x 70.6 x 8.4 mm and only 147 grams in weight. Not too big and not too heavy, which makes it pretty comfortable to hold.
Now let’s talk about the display. Alcatel ZIP LTE comes with 5 inches TFT screen. Nothing too special with that size since it is the most common screen size for smartphone this day. Build with HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels) brings a fine detail to the picture, but then again, nothing too special with that. The screen supports capacitive multi-touch feature and it was protected with scratch-resistant glass.
Since the phone was released in 2017, it was no wonder that it was equipped with Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system. It obviously works better from the previous version so that is something worth to look at.

The phone uses Qualcomm Adreno 304 GPU, which is also pretty common to find this day. 2 GB RAM 16 GB internal memory and a microSD slot that could store for another 32 GB of data complete everything. It gives plenty of room to play with the apps and also more places to store all those work files.
Does it support 4G? Of course it does as well as 2G and 3G. With this kind of support, you don’t’ have to worry about losing internet connection anytime and anywhere.
Internet connection is not the only thing you can get from this phone. It also allows you to connect with other people using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and A-GPS system. No NFC and no infrared but that should not be a problem, after all, it supports the most common type of connectivity system that most people use this day.
Now let’s talk about the battery, the one that keeps the phone up and running all day. The battery is the non-removable type so there is no way you can remove the battery when you want to force restart the phone. That battery will keep the phone running for up to 6.5 hours of talk time and in standby time; it will last for up to 10.5 days.

From everything mentioned above, the phone is not necessarily exceptional. Most of the feature is a common thing to find this day. Nothing is really stood out but that doesn’t mean it was not worth it. In fact, the features function and capacity of this phone is a good one, especially in its price range. Both version of Alcatel ZIP LTE is worth to look at. Both versions offer stability, which is something far more important and more needed this day.
